GECKO

London based singer/songwriter Gecko may well be known to AOLM readers from his collaboration with Lewis Bootle, but he is also successful in his own right.

His last album release ‘Climbing Frame’ contained the AOLM Top Track ‘Laika’ is just out and he has also released acoustic versions of the title track and also of Laika.

Gecko has also an acclaimed podcast called The FlockĀ  which well worth checking out.

He continues touring the UK releasing some excellent quirky singles. The Tamworth Two was released in April 2023 followed by In This Tree in September ahead of his latest UK Tour.

In March 2025 Gecko released ‘The Big Picture’ which has been crowd funded by his fan base. He continues his quirky whimsical style to great effect and the album is sure to become a firm favourite.

The Flock

The Flock is an audio drama produced by Gecko in a series of podcasts. He describes it as “An environmental fable and epic adventure about the end of the world – told from the point of view of the birds”.
