Civilized Tears

Civilized Tears’ were an Alternative Rock/Pop band with a sound full of lush textures,  ‘ Open-Hearted ‘ lyrics , melodic hooks and strong pulsing rhythms.

Tim Bennett, the main creative force behind CT, has performed his music in the living room for Super-Model Kate Moss, had lunch with Kylie Minogue, was forced to drink a pint of Cobra’s blood in China , almost drowned scuba diving in Malaysia, was arrested for spying , protected by the Mafia , dated Miss Italy , was kissed by an Orang Utan in the jungles of Borneo ,suffered temporary blindness when a loaded starter gun was shot in his face, climbed the highest mountain in South East Asia -solo , survived two major Earthquakes and was scolded by the Queen Mother for sunbathing half naked whilst she was having lunch.

He formed the band in 2007 and released two albums on his own label. 

These days Tim is carving a new life for himself, his wife Bambi and their two lovely children in the backwoods of the USA, living of the land.
