THE ROOP, a new, fresh-sounding pop rock band from Lithuania, a country sitting right at the centre of Europe.
The summer of 2016 was especially busy for the band, they played  “Positivus”, “Granatos Live”, “Galapagai” and “Karklė” festivals. At the same time the band recorded new songs, and at the end of summer “The Roop” played a solo concert where they introduced a new song from the upcoming album and video.

In May 2017 The Roop released a video “Dream On” from the upcoming album due in September.

“The Roop’s” recently released original “Come Back” track from the debut album “To Whom It May Concern” sounds farther and farther from Lithuania. This radio single has been played in Belgium, Germany, France, Australia, Columbia, Romania, Serbia, Brazil UK and USA.

“The Roop” introduce a dance remix for “Come back”. “This is our second collaboration with “Name-free”. We are extremely happy with this version of the song” says band’s drummer Robertas smiling

“We aimed for “Come back” to be light and summery. A song that would be perfect for a summer day car ride or a jog on the beach, a walk on the street” – says Linas, from “Name-free”. Although the music “Name-free” make and play is heavier and often really energetic, suitable for dance parties, the guys think they managed to sustain their characteristic energy level along with gentle colors of House music.

Are you living your dream?

“The ROOP” encourages everyone to dare living the life you want and not be afraid to dream.
The musician noticed that rather often fear or stereotypes prevent you from reaching your ambitions. The goal of “Hello” is to deny the clichés and inspire reaching your dreams fearlessly. This song is the first from the upcoming second album planned to be released next spring.

The video stars 6 individuals who decided to introduce their life stories. Among the “heroes” –  a girl who loves another girl, a guy who founded a farm animal shelter and appeared along with probably the happiest chicken in Lithuania, yoga teacher who quit his job in advertising, lady who lost couple of dozens of kilograms, artist girl who creates painting out of unusual objects, and twins – brought up in a child care home who now are famous painters.
